A Design Icon, Built to Last a Lifetime
The wishbone chair — originally designed by Hans Wegner — is one of the most enduring silhouettes in modern furniture. This version stays true to that legacy: crafted from hand-selected American ash wood, shaped using multi-dimensional thermal bending for seamless curves with no joints or breakage, and finished in natural transparent wood wax oil that lets the grain speak for itself.
Because ash trees grow differently depending on light, soil, and climate, each chair carries its own subtle variation in color and texture. No two are exactly alike.
120 Meters of Hand-Woven Rope
The seat is woven by hand by experienced craftspeople using 120 meters of 100% natural Kraft paper rope per chair — soft, breathable, and surprisingly comfortable for long meals and lingering conversations. It's the kind of detail you notice the moment you sit down.
Sturdy, Lightweight & Ready to Use
Each chair is hand-assembled and load-tested to hold at least 300 lbs. Despite its solid construction, the wishbone silhouette keeps it light and easy to move — no assembly required straight out of the box.
